About FORGING Project
The workshop is organised by the FORGING Project Consortium. FORGING – Forum for Emerging Enabling Technologies in Support to the Digital and Green Transitions through Value Sensitive Innovations – is a Coordination and Support Action funded by the European Commission’s Horizon Europe, under the topic HORIZON-CL4-2021-DIGITAL-EMERGING-01-13. The project operates with regards to all six Industry 5.0. technological frameworks:
– It assists the growth and manifestation of emerging enabling technologies and accelerates their uptake by industry and society;
– It funnels the transformative potential of emerging enabling technologies to address major industrial and societal challenges such as greening and digitalisation;
– It promotes the integration of value-sensitive considerations, such as environmental and societal implications, in technology development and market uptake processes;
– It initiates a cross-sectoral and multi-stakeholder Forum supporting the digital and green transition through a human-centred approach to technology and innovation;Â
– It develops a new methodology based on a value-sensitive innovation journey that stimulates new technological pathways attentive to the environment and to society.
