Call For Papers
2nd Workshop on Advances in Network Optimization and Management (ANOM)
Software defined networking (SDN) provides network communities with innovative networking ideas, while the emerging 5G wireless networks ensure that various contemporary wireless applications can be timely and satisfactorily served anytime and anywhere. Today, the rapidly developing SDN and 5G networks bring forth many challenges for network optimization and management. In particular, traditional methods are either unavailable or inoperative for these new networking paradigms. Therefore, new advances in network optimization and management are needed urgently in order to maintain normal operations of SDN and 5G networks.
This workshop aims to identify challenges and solicit novel solutions in network optimization and management for the new SDN and 5G networking paradigms. Specifically, we invite original contributions that envision future directions of network optimization and management. We welcome high quality papers containing the latest theoretical and/or experimental results. Researchers and engineers from both academia and industry are welcome to attend the workshop for discussions and idea sharing.
The topics include, but are not limited to:
- Optimization and modeling for SDN/5G
- Operation and management for SDN/5G
